French Quarter Fest in the Vieux Carré is “The Largest
Showcase of Louisiana Music in the World." Not only is it
FREE, but it’s a great opportunity to introduce your
kids to the music and culture you love.
Along with fantastic music and New Orleans' food from places like
Tujague's, New Orleans School of Cooking, and Cafe Beignet, there's The
Chevron Children's STEM Zone, designed to stimulate the mind while incorporating elements of “STEM”
(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Just head to the Natchez
Wharf between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
You can also take free dance lessons at the French Market Traditional
Jazz Stage and at the Chevron Stage.
