The Music Man at Rivertown Theaters, September 14-30

The Crescent City becomes River City this fall at the Rivertown Theaters. Not even a gold trombone can compete with Meridith Wilson’sThe Music Man, one of the most beloved American musicals of all time. Since 1957, Harold Hill and Marian the Librarian have been entertaining audiences in this six-time, Tony Award winning musical comedy. You’ll be singing about the Wells Fargo wagon, 76 trombones, and Gary, Indiana for weeks to come.

Aladdin at the Saenger, September 26-October 7

Grant your children’s wishes and take them to Disney’s ALADDIN, the hit Broadway musical from the producer of The Lion King. The show features music by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas), lyrics by Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), Tim Rice (Evita, Aida) and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Chad Beguelin. It is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Something Rotten!). Introduce your kids to a

Peter Pan at Jefferson Performing Arts Center, Oct. 19-21, 27 & 27

Join Peter, Tinkerbell, the Darling children and Nana at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center this fall. Fly over London, visit Neverland and meet the Lost Boys and that dastardly Captain Hook. Your children will discover the true power of friendship at this classic Broadway musical, based on characters created by the Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie.
