This summer, take your family for a little getaway – and we mean little – to Whoville. From July 25-28, you can go see Seussical, Jr., a musical performed by kids for families, at Rivertown Theaters in Kenner.
Seussical, Jr. features lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flahertyand is based on stories of Dr. Seuss(most of its plot is based on Horton Hears a Who!)
Directed by Sean Patterson and narrated by the Cat in the Hat, this delightful show features Horton the Elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people (the Whos) who he has to protect while guarding an egg that's been left in his care by Mayzie La Bird.
This show is a fun way to teach your children the power of friendship, loyalty, family and community. It makes for a great family night before back to school.
